STATE DIRECTOR ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Engage with the Membership Committee by participating in conference calls and contributing to discussions.
- Collaborate with your Co-State Director to connect with elected women across the state—on both sides of the aisle and at all levels of government.
- Promote NFWL programs to women in your state, ensuring they take advantage of the resources and opportunities we offer.
- Encourage attendance at our Annual Conference by recruiting elected women to join us for this impactful event.
- Set a goal to bring 5-10 women from your state to the conference.
- Raise at least $5,000 in sponsorships for the 2025 Annual Conference through campaign funds, leadership PACs, corporations, state appropriations, or grants.
- Share potential conference sponsorship leads with NFWL to help grow our support network.
- Identify key legislation (passed or introduced) and elected women championing important issues for inclusion in our Shared Legislation Program.
