STATE DIRECTOR ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Engage with the Membership Committee by participating in conference calls and contributing to discussions.
  • Collaborate with your Co-State Director to connect with elected women across the state—on both sides of the aisle and at all levels of government.
  • Promote NFWL programs to women in your state, ensuring they take advantage of the resources and opportunities we offer.
  • Encourage attendance at our Annual Conference by recruiting elected women to join us for this impactful event.
  • Set a goal to bring 5-10 women from your state to the conference.
  • Raise at least $5,000 in sponsorships for the 2025 Annual Conference through campaign funds, leadership PACs, corporations, state appropriations, or grants.
  • Share potential conference sponsorship leads with NFWL to help grow our support network.
  • Identify key legislation (passed or introduced) and elected women championing important issues for inclusion in our Shared Legislation Program.
  • Let us celebrate you! Allow us to feature you on our social media platforms and website.
